Christmas 2020

This has been a difficult year for us all, but at Christmas we celebrate the truth that the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness will never overcome it.

Our Christmas will be a little different this year – in order to be Covid safe we have to limit the number of people at our services and maintain social distancing. This means that booking is essential at all our services, so please do reserve a place to avoid disappointment. Below you will find a list of each Christmas service, with a short description and a link to Eventbrite where you can book a ticket.

Christmas Carol Service: Sunday 20th December, 6pm

Our Christmas Carol Service will be a game of two halves this year. The first half will take place in the church with some beautiful music from our scratch choir and readings telling the Christmas Story.

In the second half we’ll go outside the church – so wrap up warm – for some socially-distanced carol singing. If the first half of the service is fully booked, do come and join us for the second.

Walk-Through Nativity
We are very sorry, but we have had to cancel this service because Spitalfields City Farm has had to close due to Tier 4 restrictions, so Bayleaf could no longer come. In light of this, and the increased risks of public gatherings, we have decided to go online. Please see our telling of the Nativity Story on our facebook page at 3pm on Christmas Eve.

First Mass of Christmas : Thursday 24th December, 8pm

Come and join us as we celebrate the coming of Jesus as a little baby in Bethlehem to save the world with our traditional Christmas Mass.
