Parish Club

The Parish Club runs a varied programme of talks and visiting speakers, and lots of tea and cake(!). Normally we close with a short 10 mins service of Psalms and prayers.  The people who come just enjoy being with each other and chatting. It is a good way to meet people from different churches and from our local community. Everyone is welcome to join our group.

Some of our talks have so far have included:

  • England’s Nazareth: The Shrine of Our Lady of Walsingham with Fr Tim Pike
  • Spanish Saints with Roy Norton
  • Sacred Music: A discussion on themes in Renaissance Masses with Dr Irena Cholij
  • Wedding pictures  with Damien Mason
  • Russia: The Diocese of London’s trip to St Petersburg  with Fr Tim and Damien Mason

There is usually a programme lined up with interesting guests and speakers. The club itself really decide on the running of the group and the kind of talks they would like to have.

All are welcome to come along to the Parish Club, whether or not you come to church! Our group varies in age, and what church people come from; the club is for anyone who is interested.

See our News Sheet for further details if you are interested in coming along.
