The Bishop of Edmonton will be coming to confirm members of Holy Innocents and Holy Trinity. If you feel that perhaps its time to mark your journey in Christ with confirmation, please talk to one of the priests. In past years we have had confirmation candidates of all ages and there are many people in the church who can tell you why this is such a joyful and important step in affirming your faith. |

| It was a packed Advent and Christmas with over 180 people at midnight mass and more than 100 people coming to celebrate Christmas Day mass. At Holy Innocents we have various services for all the major festivals and feasts so that everyone has the opportunity to worship in a way that they feel appropriate. |

| The week before we were due to go away, Summer was looking like soggy Autumn. Then the sun put in an appearance as we spent five days at Cromer. |

| It was a packed week, showing off some of the great talent and gifts we have in Hornsey: |
| On the Tuesday, we had a 'Golden Girls' event where the everyone had the opportunity to reflect on how the church has always been around and the many changes it's seen. |
| Wednesday evening was a great success with the Steel Pans orchestra from Hornsey Girls School. |
| On Thursday evening we went on a wine pilgrimage tour from Spain, tasting the finest wines you would encounter on the road to Compenstella. It was a great success that didn't depend on any walking, for a change. |
