Everyone agreed it was one of those special nights. It was certainly an event not to be missed.

The fare included spiced fish, goat curry and green melon desert.

Although a lot of people made this such a memorable evening, thanks must go to Angie and her sister who masterminded the whole event.

Something in the region of £1,000 was raised which will go to sorely needed new vestments.

Our thanks, also, to Holy Trinity who hosted the evening at the last moment due to a flu attack which got the better of Fr. Tim - all he could do is savour secondhand accounts of the evening. (He wasn't amused that night or for a few days, afterwards.)
